The workshop has been changed! We are moving out of our tiny house into something with more space ...including a larger studio. Things happened a lot slower then we had anticipated and our move will take place over the last weekend in Feb...which means I had to change the class!

So...the new dates are

March 25th, 7-9 pm and 26th 10am-6pm

Next Class is Feb 24th and 26th!Day One } Thursday Febuary 24th

Get to know your camera, learn the difference between aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition, histogram, etc
Also how to properly light your subjects Fix focusing problems
Day Two } Saturday Feburary 26th

Learn how to take your camera off Auto and really learn what your capable of caputuring!!

Practice shooting in different modes and learn the right times to use different settings.
Practice on real models, get hands on shooting experience Learn how to take the shots of your kids you have been missing!

Learn how to position your subject so that is pleasing to the eye and artistic!

and make some pretty cool friends!

Photoshop Class-Option 1

an 8 week course with Elements Photography

This extensive 8 week class covering all aspects of your photoshop program.

We will be teaching you the basic skills in editing photographs. Knowledge of photoshop tools, layers, and masks. How to turn a photograph into black and white with depth & contrast and different options to for vivid colors.You will also receive instructions on how to create beautiful cards, templates & scrapbook pages. We will keep the class personal, small, & inviting to help you gain skills that help create beautiful pictures & projects.

Classes will be held every Thursday night in the Elements Photography Downtown Studio.

Starting on March 6th @7:00

The cost for the class will be $300

One on One Photoshop Tutoring $100 for 2 hours

Learn how all the tools and options work, layers, masks, history, actions etc. She will also teach some options for converting to black and white and color pop. You will get through as much as possible in the two hours and then if you want more you can schedule additional sessions! Sessions are held either at your home or mine

Our next workshop will be held January 15th from 6:30-8:00pm and January 17th from 9:00am-6:00pm at the Marriott Courtyard in St. George, Utah. Lunch and snacks are provided.

This class is great for those of you who have a digital SLR and want to know how to use it to its full ability and take great pictures...whether you want to shoot people or landscapes you will leave with the knowledge of what all the buttons and camera lingo means and how to manipulate it to take fantastic pictures. The class is VERY hands on and we limit enrollment so we can give attention to each person in the class. Please contact us for more questions. You can email either of us:

I seriously was ready to pull my hair out over this site. I wanted to make it very easy to use and I messed it up sooo bad I was going crazy....its not rocket science it is a blog! So I think that it is finally fix and looks normal, at least I think so...does it look normal on your end?

So much of what I love about my job is that it fills a huge social need for me...teaching these workshops fill that need even more! It was so much fun to get to know everyone, to learn, eat yummy food (thanks to Twenty Five Main) and chat a whole bunch! Thanks for making this workshop a great experience girls! I can't wait to see all your fabulous pictures!
